Can Teenagers be Grateful ??

Adolescence is certainly a crazy time for both parents and teenagers.. As parents, we can’t demand that our teenagers be grateful of us. However, an ungrateful attitude and a sense of entitlement are unacceptable as well.

Gratitude, is an ideal concept that psychologist have found. It doesn't only depend on how another person done right by you, but also how you might return the favor. And that's not something we need experts to tell us. In some cases gratitude might be beyond the capabilities of the teenager's brain.

Take for example the popular situation in which a teenage girl goes into her  bedroom after her mother tells her that she's not allowed to go out with her friends. "I'm going to run away you'll never see me again ! I swear! " she shouts, as she slams herself repeatedly in her bed,and tears off her clothes. Personally, my mom would have killed me if I ever acted like that. But according to scientific studies her lack of gratitude  is normal. Although a lack in gratitude may be unavoidable among teens today, some rejected the arguments that it's just a limitation of adolescence. The environment and the commercial culture plays a big role in teenager's behavior.

But what makes teenagers grateful? If you're not grateful then you'll pass your life either depressed or just sad not knowing what you really want.  Giacomo Bono has found in his research that many young people are less grateful because they don’t yet know what their purpose is. In other words, my contemporaries,or people who are same age as me, probably aren’t ungrateful people – they’re just still figuring out what to be grateful for.In other words they don't really care about being grateful or not all what they care about is to acquire a thousand friends on Facebook. Some parents help their teens show more gratitude by:

1) Being a gratitude modleThat means show it, recognize it, and appreciate it when you see it. When your teen demonstrates kind, and thoughtful behavior, be sure to show gratitude. Nothing feels better than being appreciated for the little things such as putting the plates in the sink without being asked or making the bed. Oppose the temptation to say; “FINALLY, you did it– why don’t you do this all the time!”

2) Find the Good in the situation. Many situations which appear “bad,” often can result in something good. It may be tough, but try to be a “good-finder” and show your children how to do the same.

3) Help their teens in having privileges.  It can’t be “all work and no play.” Allow them to hang out with friends, go to the movies, or simply have time by themselves . This will allow them to be more grateful for their downtime and let them know that you, as a parent, trust them, and appreciate their efforts.

Gratitude is something obtained by what surrounds the person. So surrounding your teen with gratitude, grateful people, or things to be grateful for, and models of gratitude and soon they'll get the picture.

Port Said Violence

What happened yesterday in Port Said at Al Ahly and Al Masry match was a complete disappointment. I couldn't believe what I was watching, and I'm sure that this is not the way that we Egyptians treat each other.

The match was a normal one were the Masry football club beat Cairo,s leading team Ahly 3-1. And a few seconds after the match ended a handful of Al Masry supporters were covering the whole pitch and violently attaching Al Ahly fans and players. This violence resulted in the death of  73 person and more than 300 were injured! What really shocks is how they were killed and injured. Some were dying due to how violently they were beaten while others killed by being thrown away from the stand!!

On the next day , Thursday, it was clear how Al Masry supporters entered the pitch and attached the poor fans those who were unable to escape, easily. That was because the gate between the stand and the pitch was left opened , while at the same time the exit area where the Ahly fans were sitting was kept close

By the late afternoon thousands of people gathered outside the governor's headquarters chatting " Port Said is innocent" and that was actually the truth as we can't blame any thing but the security. As what was shown by all the videos that were displayed by TV programs  that the security men were actually watching what is going on just like all other people not even trying to defend the players that had sever injuries due to the attaches. Those supporters who doesn't have hearts and are not of course Egyptians didn't have mercy on even a small kid that was killed by their attaches. Some players like Mohammad Abo Traka, Mohammad Barakat , Emad Metab, and Mohammad Gedo said that we don't attach our brothers and that they'll stop playing and will leave the team until our country returns as it was.

Finally I wish that my country returns the best country as it was in the past

FINALLY DONE!!

Freeeeeeeeeedom! I can't believe I"ve finally finished my EXAMS it was a nightmare. This advise may be impossible to follow, but there is nothing you can do about your exams once you turn it in.Wise people have been saying for a long time you should focus on things you can control and not worry about things you can't control

There is no definite link between the grade you think you'll get after you've answered a bunch of exams and the grade you'll actually get .After all the exams I've passed through my education years I'd like to give that small advice to all students"REVISING WITH ANYONE AFTER THE EXAM IS THE WORAT THING YOU CAN DO "avoid talking to other student about what they wrote would be the best thing to do

Finally my mom will not force me to log out from facebook or

Father Importance

People all over the world including me think that a mother is much more essential to a child than a father and that the mother's love is enough ,but today we will be proved wrong.

If for example both Mohammad and May lives with their mother and a step-father.Both of them will be having a new person in their lives that they never knew from before instead of their real father. People could say "they'll get used to it" without even knowing how could this situation have really a great impact on their children.Although both a father and a mother provide love to their children but there love is different.

Fathers attitude towards their children is different. They push limits and encourage their kids to do things that is challenging for them. They communicate differently they talk brief and to the point . Fathers provide a look to the men world the eat, dress, speak, and even smell differently. They know which behaviors are inappropriate. Girls and boys who grow with a father are more familiar and secure with the curious world of men. Dr.Kyle Pruett explains why a father care is essential as a mother care. He says it is simply because "a father do not mother" . Psychologists also say that father hood is a unique relationship that has a great impact on how a child grow.

That article is not written to say that a mother has nothing to do with her children obviously not , because no one can argue about mother's importance

Why Studying with no Aim??

Today I've been asking myself several questions. One of which was what is my real aim what is that thing that I'am working and studying for is it to be graduated from high school then university finding the job then getting older and eventually dying with nothing people can remember me with.

My answer was actually no. I don't want to be a normal person like those people who just came and leave the world without leaving any sign or doing something that make the world or even their country a better place.I want to do something that really improves our community. Something great that people will remember me with. But what is that thing I really don't know and I hope that one day I'd know it .

Today, I've realized that I have so much free time that I make no use of I just watch T.V , go online and chat with my friends.... etc. Just few minutes ago I decided to do something that is both interesting and beneficial it is creating my own blog

Since it is the first time for me to have a blog, I really found it so much fun. The reason why before I  didn't have a blog and now I do is that before I was a shallow person stuck in my books and notes but now I'm starting to think in a different way and all the thanks to my English teacher miss Hada.

Although, at the beging I took miss Hada's advice as a humilation or an insult and I felt guilty about it but after thinking about it I realised that she was actually was advising us yo be on the right track and that what I've really seen when I started my blog.

THANK YOU MISS HADA FOR THAT PRESIOUS ADVICE I'm REALLY INTERESTED IN THAT BLOG
